Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

Problem with@2:45 motion is that if they let people volunteer for the packages, most of the young mobile people would quit and move on. The company would make the required head count cuts but could not get to the G&A $ cuts because the young people are cheaper than the older people and they would have to cut 2 many 5 year guys to make up for a 20 year guy. How they avoid age discrimation suits after this I don't know. I bet there are lawyers in town ready to take on a class action lawsuit. If you thought Aubrey being in the press was bad if Doug gets tangled in a discrimination suit the media bashing of CHK would be horrible. Doug better tip toe lightly
