Two of the 14 schools in Pennsylvania’s System of Higher Education have announced layoffs in the last two months.
That’s according to the Harrisburg Patriot-News, which says that cuts Edinboro University near Erie announced Tuesday follow similar staff reductions at Clarion University in August.
The newspaper noted that five other state schools–Cheyney, East Stroudsburg, Kutztown, Mansfield and Slippery Rock–could potentially see layoffs next year.
