It is time to trim the fat at the top. The salaries, bonuses, and stock awards are obscene. There are currently 75+ VP's. Land and A&D are top heavy and have long received preferential treatment and as a result they have an inflated sense of entitlement and are very arrogant. Both groups held to a different standard than the rest of the company. And don't wring your hands for any of the execs-AKM made millionaires out of all of them AND his former Board of Good Old Boys That Do What I Want. There's a new sheriff in town and the gravy train left the station. Unfortunately a lot of worker bees will get caught in this round of layoffs.
