Based on what is posted here, and what I know of Black and Veatch,

Management is stupid; They would allow poor performing employees to work for years and years without correction. OR...

Managment is callous;Lays off people with lots of years with the company, but make more money then a new hire and even though many jobs are available in the entire company, they will not assist people to move in house to keep them.
Neither one sounds nice does it? Black and Veatch, a great place to start your career, but don't get too comfy, you will be layed off when your salary goes too high!
