Nothing.He has the right to work in NY just like everyone else. Your labor agreement or bylaws do not trump state or federal law.If he doesn't get voted in he will still have a job, however he will still have to pay dues or donate the same amount to a charitable org. Oh lets not forget the union is still required to represent him.
