Thread regarding DST Systems Inc. layoffs

I agree with you. Yes, don't complain about the company that you work for. If you are not happy with your place of work, just leave, don't stay and complain. But I don't work for DST anymore and never will again, so I think I have free rein to complain about them. The people responsible for sending me packing are still there, and still evil and stupid. They are people in positions of power, unfortunately. These people lied to me, and treated me unfairly. It could happen to you too. It has nothing to do with the quality of my work. I know that I am very good at my job, and my performance evaluations at DST were all outstanding. And yet, here I am - an ex DST employee looking back on my time there with bitterness. My advice is run from this company. There is no way to protect yourself there - certainly not by focusing on doing a good job - it won't help. Run far, run fast.
