For a company that claims to have one of its major brand atributes of trustworthy, maybe they should start being truthful about what it is doing. It has fired hundreds of loyal dedicated employees over the past few months without offering them any other jobs or opportunities. This has happens to many long term employees with great employment records and appraisals. Probably because these employees didn't play the political games and suck up to the right people at the top. If the people at the top really ran the company well, they should keep the dedicated good employees. Trustworthy they claim, however Graeme Harris keeps denying the truth and trying to cover up what is really happening. Why would I trust my money with you if you cannot be trustworthy and up front with what is happening. If as you are claiming to the employees that this is all for the benefit of the company then should you not be happy to be straightforward about it. Trustworthy is not an attribute that Manulife is displaying.
It is all int the name of cost reductions......maybe you should stop spending millions of dollars on a golf tournament and invest your money in your employees.
