As others have said, the atmosphere at Manulife is absolutely toxic, and has been for many months. At this point, I'd actually prefer to get a package and take the summer off. Then I'd take my time and find work at a company that's actually ethical, that I actually respect, and that doesn't continually replace North American FTE with low performers in third world locales (regardless of whether the workers are direct employees or through outsourcing companies, because ultimately those legal technicalities don't matter at all from an ethical standpoint).
I can't help but laugh at the company's continued desperate call for volunteers at the LPGA. Good luck with that Manulife! I guess you'd better start to fly staff in from Manila to do that these days, eh?
