CompuCom Systems Inc., a Dallas firm that helps run large companies' technology systems, has been sold.

Financial terms weren't disclosed of the sale to Boston private equity firm Thomas H. Lee Partners. However, both Reuters and Fortune magazine put the price tag at $1.1 billion.

Fortune said CompuCom's previous owner, Court Square Capital Partners, paid about $504 million for the business in 2007. Court Square put additional capital into CompuCom to support various acquisitions during its ownership tenure, Fortune said.

CompuCom officials weren't immediately available for comment Tuesday.
