This strike and the fight that ensued between Local 320, the men, and the Dynegy Empire is an act of nobility at it's greatest. It may just be one of the last great union battles of this century. Once again Big Business has won and supressed the power of the working man thru the tasteless corruption of legality and their friends in The Supreme Court system. The sad truth is that even before the flood Danskammer was destined to be eventually sold & leveled, the flood actually sped up the process. Another key factor here is the re-election of Barrack Obama and his sworn intent to make the coal plants pay so much to run it'll cost them too much to stay open. We had one of two choices: Collect wages until the inevitable came and be on our way...OR...Decline wages, go on Strike and STILL end up on our way. The math was obvious from the beginning and the signs were all there...we just chose to ignore them in some "lets kick their asses" false sense of reason. Bottom line is that the War is over, we never had a chance after Obama won anyway. Best of luck, Brothers. For those whom have a sense of logic you know my words are true.
