Thread regarding Dynegy Inc. layoffs

All of you die hard strikers that have a profound sense of entitlement need to realize the fight is over...count your losses and lay down your guns. Your fighting bastards who find enjoyment knowing that you are out there walking in circles while they are warm & comfy down in good ol' Texas. Did anyone ever consider that this auction is being manipulated? That perhaps Dynegy's significant "Evil" is sitting with them at some bar strategizing how many more casualties there will be that they will not have to deal with! Did you ever think that maybe, just maybe, that they are sitting idle and allowing time to dwindle us down to the numbers they need thru our own hardships without the expense of doing it from inside? They are saving in the area of $200k - $225k on the basic union payroll, without OT, a week while we are out there. Then figure in 401k matches, medical benefits, life insurance, workman's comp, etc.. We will have MORE leeway on the inside than we will out there!!! The contract wasn't exactly what we wanted but then it wasn't as bad as the greedy ones cry about.
