The workers at Danskammer (most of them) were second to NONE! The whole plant ran on manual, jury rigged! 4 different boilers, 3 different fuels, cycling, outdated equipment, modifications on top of retrofits. We still kept the place running when called for. Hats off to all who gave a shit and earned their pay with physical labor and knowledge. No substitute for experience! Lots of blood and sweat, and memories there! Sad that Dynegy put the final nail in Danskammers coffin. Long live the memory of Danskammer! Rot in HELL Dynegy and all it's SCUMBAGS that screwed us!
