Smith & Nephew has announced it will reduce its global workforce by 7 percent over the next three years. The statement came Thursday, Feb. 2 2012, when the London-based company reported its fourth-quarter and full-year 2011 earnings, with Q4 earnings that exceeded analysts’ estimates.
