Thread regarding Dynegy Inc. layoffs

Just sold my truck so I can pay my mortgage and have a Christmas. I have no medical and was denied any assistance from the county. They said my earnings for the past two years were over the cut off point. I was astonished on the amount of money I made over the past two years (close to ¼ million dollars) $240,000. That is not including my wife’s income. My monthly expenses are $2090.00 mortgage, $689.00 auto payment, CHG&E $285.00 (budget plan), cable $155.00, Garbage $42.00, school $400.00, food $600, credit cards $500.00, miscellaneous & gas $400.00 = $5,161.00. The union always said to me “we need to pick our battles .
