Thread regarding Dynegy Inc. layoffs

Going on strike used to be a very painful process for both employee and employer but now it’s jsut a matter of getting heard. Most strikes rarely last a week and most likely not even that long. Tell your daughter that she should expect to be away from work for atleast a week. She should also plan to cut back on spending during this time frame as a means of getting by while the job issues are being worked out. I hope she gets back to work soon. Just out of curiousity who in the heck goes on strike when everyone else is looking for jobs and in an economic crisis to add?
