Another holiday season is upon us, and finally Charlotte Russe has become profitable. Not by anything strategic that management has implemented, but by sheer luck of being able to survive the recession and riding the coat tails of a boom in retail (and because Jenny has stop giving input on what to buy). All the positions that were eliminated have been slowly refilled with employees who do not want to work here, but want a paycheck. As soon as something better opens up elsewhere, they seem to jump on it. The griping never improved, no matter how well we are doing, people still complain about how lazy that one department is... The gifts from vendors are nice, especially the ones that the merchants don't tell anyone about (visa gift cards :) :) :)). The old crop of marketers are out, but one girl from the marketing department has reappeared in the form of photos, in the buff, thanks for the images. Maybe if she didn't get laid off, she would've been able to afford some clothes at a 40% discount to cover up. We are even getting the big bonus this year. Merry Christmas y'all!
