It sets our race back to say we are entitled to a position because of the color of our skin. We should only get a position based on our qualifications and our performance. I am quite sure that Charlotte doesn't go around saying "oh wait your African American we can't hire you for a DM". It's not like its some pough dunk company in the Deep South. Give me a break. I am African American and have worked hard to earn two degrees work full time and not look for a hand out because of my skin color. This is 2012 and no one owes anyone anything anymore. If anything we owe it to the next generation to get over what ever it is you still feel we are owed.
