Roughly 2300 positions (we are at 40k employees now) or 6% of total employee count will be nixed by 2017. Europe is hurting big time, and China is pulling back as well. Next couple of years will be crucial for our company as we'll have to adapt to all changes happening globally right now. Most of the cuts will be here in the States, however given the weakness across the globe, nobody is safe here at Colgate.
