Thread regarding Sigma-Aldrich Corp. layoffs

Minneapolis will be hit next month, I am not going to go with the rest of posters who complain about quality of posts here. all i have to say is that i heard that a location will be hit, some layoffs are being prepped. i dont know who will be affected or how many folks will be let go, but i did hear there will be layoffs. now, i have two options - either i keep my mouth shut or i share what i know. i chose to share, if you dont like it just dont read this site - go somewhere else, i dont blame people reading cnbc and seeing all rosy predictions on how the stock will double in a year. at the same time, i do know that there are folks out there who like to hear opinions or rumors, so this site is for them - we are all adults, we all know that anyone can post whatever they want here so i take every post with a grain of salt. the fact is, sigma aldrich used to be a great company and now, all will agree, we lost quite bit of that luster...
