Thread regarding Sigma-Aldrich Corp. layoffs

I guess it will all come out in a couple of week. Cutting 20 percent of employees can mean anything. I wonder if the twenty percent is straight layoffs. Perhaps there is a deal to outsource key functions or sell a division. Just thinking positively. Oh yeah. You can very well cut 20% of your staff especially when you have a management heavy organization like sial.
