McKinsey does not let people go - well managed and efficient and sees itself as a people-centric company. When you think about it, for McKinsey, it's people are the biggest asset.

McK may not RIF/layoff internally, but those that work in their clients' companies sure do and in greater numbers once McK is involved.
Throw McK in the bay, didn't necessarily originate in Tampa.
Not sure about this statement, McK did have layoffs in the past.
