So Cal presence only, owned by an obscure group called Tepper Technologies - no site or information about Tepper could be found. It looks like Carmen Tepper is one of the owners of Tepper Tech - here is what I also found: "Carmen Tepper, 56, of Las Vegas, the owner of the San Diego International Academy of English (SDIAE) and Southern States University (SSU), is charged in the 11-count indictment handed down last month with conspiring to defraud the U.S. government, and with making false statements in documents submitted on behalf of foreign students. The indictment also seeks the forfeiture of more than $3 million that Tepper allegedly gained through the scheme, which involved dozens of foreign students." http://www.ice.gov/news/releases/1106/110617sandiego.htm

Carmen Tepper was put through hell by the US Department of Homeland Security, ICE, for several years, at a personal cost to her of a small fortune in legal expenses and unimaginable emotional duress. They never found ANY wrongdoing on her behalf or on the part of the universities, which continue to thrive today. Once the government raided Carmen's home and offices, and confiscated all of the computers, they spent years trying to find wrongdoing, which never materialized. I have urged Carmen to sue (we are not a litigious people) for the years of duress and near financial ruin she and the universities endured, as prospective students Google her name and encounter this sort of garbage reporting, which is a continuation of the assault. At the very least, the government owes Carmen Tepper and Tepper Technologies a formal public apology, and on online retraction of all of this damaging reporting. I'm happy to say that both accredited universities are once again thriving, and this whole disgusting chapter has been over for some time. It was certainly a wake up call to just how the US government can randomly step in and ruin ones life and life's work.
