Thread regarding Sigma-Aldrich Corp. layoffs

I was one of the folks let go in January 2012. Spend many years here and it was hard to let go. For all of you who are on the chopping block right now: There is hope, do not worry, if you have skills and are willing to pick up the pieces and move on, you'll be just fine. The job market for skilled workers is not bad at all, the unemployment numbers you hear about are mostly impacting unskilled or low-skilled work-force, so forget the anxiety related to layoffs, chin up and brush up that resume.
