Guys, Kenexa helps other companies hire people, why would they lay off anyone, they are in business of managing staff - they should know what's the proper load of resources

Look at how Kenexa were built. It was through acquisition and merger. Well. That and a bit of Borg Technology thrown in. Resistance was Futile. Technological distinctiveness was added to the culture and if it didn't fit it was discarded and employees blacklisted. Only product brand names remained. And a huge unwieldly way of working that relied more on techs making their own positions secure by hiding it behind overly complicated ways of working making work for themselves to be actually understood only by a few. I remain unsure if half of them knew what they were doing anyway but were operating on blind faith. I once found a very important command execution terminator that was missing and had been overlooked FOR YEARS... meaning that every single piece of data since about 2012 had been shonk anyway. They kept on blaming me for churning out incorrect figures until I took them by the hand through this. Too many people blindly running the process of code in cubicles without bothering to understand it. Not how Survey should be run. Even the Directors knew that. Disgraceful.
Hahahahahahaha. Kenexa were always pre-hatchet folk. Their, 'anonymous' surveys always had respondent Unique Reference Numbers and it was kind of funny that anyone who wasn't 100% happy with the way their Organisation was being run was quietly binned shortly after a round of Employee Attitude Survey. Morally questionable... dodgy 'science' behind the statistics... and sometime even complete rollbacks of Industry Average Values if someone screwed up with the main data sets. Really weird company to work for - but that was when it was more like a Personality Cult based around Rudy. Who was more or less a nutcase. David Koresh but in a Ferrari. Just remember what happened when he started his own Hedge Fund after he sold off to IBM... and don't get me started on him building his own weird city to himself in India.
