Thread regarding Genband layoffs

With the exception of a small inner circle of management, Genband is one of the most unstable work enviornments in telecom. Revenue growth is through acquisition followed by judicious use of headcount reductions to control costs. The resulting work place make product deliverables, sales objectives and long-term customer relationships difficult at best. If you are offered a job at Genband, run! If a curent employee, use the opportunity to find a position with another company that values your hard work and loyalty as you are expendable at Genband. Genband's recent acquisition, Aztek Networks, was named one of the 10 best companies to work for in Colorado; Genband has never and will never be the recipient of a comparable award. It's amazing to see large carriers doing business with an unstable and self serving company uncommitted to their long term success.
