ZirMed started me off with nothing more than a two week training session and then sat me up with a dual monitor and a place to sit, a laptop, a used old blackberry and a salesforce system that was botched. the company wasn't getting any leads and they basically told me that i had the internet and a phone book and to go to town. so amidst the wild west i found my way and sold to the absolute best of my ability fighting partner channel lead thiefs, upper management with no clue about how to sale or market, no marketing department to speak of, and basically an implementation team that was pretty great to deal with and who knew their stuff. the company seems to ignore the consolidation of large software systems and still look for these small 2-3 doctor offices who don't have sophisticated systems which gave them their revenue for the first decade. times have changed and they are in trouble due to market saturation and they've brought in a flashy sales director and turnound fella who just fired people and is trying to run the place like a magazine subscription call center. he's so far disconnected from healthcare it isn't funny and i think he's talented, just not what they need. the company needs diversification, to be sold to a bigger conglomerate, or to look into other ways to add value to an extraordinarily loyal customer base who like the expensive personal customer service they offer. the company could be great, but if i were anyone considering going to work there, i'd think twice. avoid getting a dog and pony show and then getting shit on when you are true talent like me and 15 of my colleagues were. just my two cents.
