Thread regarding Charlotte Russe Holding Inc. layoffs

I think the person is thinking of the other private equity firm that owned CR before the IPO 12 years ago, Karp Reily. Alan Karp, former CEO and Board member of Charlotte Russe is the biggest owner of Rue 21. Karp tried to buy CR again in 2009, but was outbid by Advent. I don't think Advent has any interest Rue 21, if they do, it is only very small because it is not disclosed. Karp is a shark and HATES charlotte russe after he lost the proxy fight, and he is out to drive CR out of business with Rue 21. Great business man, wish he was in charge of CR, and not Jenny Ming.
