Improved sales mean nothing when you were going against numerous years of negative comps, and not to mention some of the negative comps were terrifying (negative 20%). So wow, down 5 looks good after a year of down 15. But in order to get the better comps, margins are now the lowest. There is more to the picture than just sales, so don't be fooled. You can get great sales, but it comes at a high cost. This business model is failing. You can not run fast fashion like Old Navy, when we are too promotional, we all lose. If we don't fill open RD positions, fire a bunch of store managers and district managers, cut corporate positions.... do you think that is going to improve sales.... Sorry, but I do not see any light at the end of this tunnel. Feels more like a free fall into oblivion. With Rue 21 and Forever 21 expanding like crazy, I don't think anyone is going to miss us if we are gone. We are no longer as relevant as we were just 5 years ago. Jenny and her team completely misjudged this business, she did not understand how fragile it is. We had a good run, but the end is near.
