How many "poor performers" who were let go are over the age of 40? How many "poor performers" did you lay off from Bangkok/India/China? Sounds like another typical line of BS corporate-speak from DST management. Do you really expect us to believe that an English speaking USA-based associate with years of experience is less qualified to do the job than a non-native English speaking foreigner with little to no IT experience? What it boils down to is that American workers just cost more. Good luck DST in outsourcing all your jobs to Asia (how patriotic!), as you will get what you pay for.
