There are some jealousies out there. All of those CEO’s are just posturing themselves to look good. Remember She’ll bought BG and there were some “rattles” regarding the purchase so of course She’ll is staying put for now.
Am sure the "Dream Team" is fully aware that this dream has turned into a nightmare.
The Anadarko acquisition has been poorly received by the investment community. OXY simply overpaid. There has been no industry support or congratulations. The CEOs of Chevron, ConocoPhillips & Royal Dutch Shell have publicly made their opinions known that OXY paid an unsupportable premium.
Buffet is very happy w/ the 8% premium dividend on his $10B of preferred stock. Thank you OXY.
Chevron is very happy w/ the $1B break-up fee from Anadarko...thank you OXY.
Anadarko executives are very happy w/ bonuses they gave themselves for obtaining the multi-billion dollar premium by playing OXY. Thank you OXY.
Anadarko shareholders are very happy for the over-size premium they will receive. Thank you OXY.
TOTAL is very happy w/ $8 B LNG deal. Thank you OXY.
