Thread regarding Fry's Electronics layoffs

Burbank california store empty of merchandise and people

I shop at the Burbank Fry's and it is always well stocked until last week. I have never seen the shelves so bare. In fact the reason I go to that store is because of the well stocked shelves compared to a Fry's closer to me in Woodland Hills. I also love the decorum at the Burbank store (a crashed UFO into the front of the building and 50's sci fi movie theme). If it closes I will miss the store so much. I took video of the inside of the store so I can preserve it. I think I'll head over again and get footage of the cafe with the half 50's auto booths. Please don't go.

Was at Burbank store today and saw similar empty shelves and had the same sad thoughts. I will miss the days of brick and mortar retail. Hate using Amazon to get cheap junk I cannot touch or see before I buy.

Our Fry's in Renton, WA was full of bare shelves today.

I've worked in retail all my life, this does not look right - something is up.

Same as above - please don't go !

"please remember summertime is always slow due to summer vacations across vendors and manufacturers."

BS - Most vendors and manufactures do not take vacations during the summer - It's more likely that vendors and manufacturers have cut Fry's off due to non-payment.

If you visit again, please remember summertime is always slow due to summer vacations across vendors and manufacturers.

Please remember we can personally try to find your product from another store; and also know transfers due take some time to secure and arrange. Ask a team member and we will take it to the finish line as always.

Sincerely
