If you don't lose your job in the merger certainly you will want to work for a banking institute with a real name. They will spend multiple millions rebranding with this nonsensical name, wow!

Trust Financial would have been far better. When you can't make your own decisions and have to hire consulting firms to figure it out, your in trouble.
Seems they’re playing off of the word “altruistic” in an attempt to convey care for their customers and community. The name itself is awkward to say, and seems forgettable. Its unfortunately a letter away from “truism” - which would convey that it brings nothing new to the table. I don’t know how much the consulting firm got paid; but it was definitely too much for this result.

Branch Banking and Trust + SunTrust = Trust Financial. Could have saved themselves so much money and embarrassment!
BB&T isn’t a weird name? Ask anyone outside of the south and the most common response is WTF is BB&T
Relax Nancy
Weird name. Honestly.
There is no truth in Banking. Banking is the truth - it has to be 100% accurate and true all the time.
Good luck competing with the inventors of Zelle, Erica, etc.
Unbelievably odd for a bank name; sounds more like a clothing brand. I wouldn’t imagine this will appeal to older client prospects. I suppose they are trying to be cool; it’s a little sad as I think this “name change” is not a very bright idea; more like dumb and dumber.
isn't the commercial full of millennials appropriate, excuse me while I throw up.
