It’s all over in September that’s when pizza goes. Ice cream goes in October. I believe when pizza goes more than half of us will be cut. The other half would only stay for another month so big deal.
Expect 60 day notices to start rolling out the end of July. If you have seniority you will be given the choice to stay longer or just leave in Sep. This is what I was told in our meeting.
I have a source in Nestle Corporate that is directly working on this merger. Pizza will be done with DSD by the end of November and Ice cream will be January. It's based on clearing out the inventory in the Distribution centers. Also for SoCal 7-11 will be going away end of August.
I live in NW Florida Publix and Wal-Mart are going warehouse in July. A Nestle rep has been to all our Wal-Mart stores and informed the frozen managers.
Targets go in Oct. Win Dixie is still an unknown.
