So far Ca has ruined more Software Companies than Broadcom!
Jeez...this is pathetic. Anyone from CA who held CA stock was (over) paid as the result of this acquisition. If that wasn't you, it's your own fault.
And how many companies/lives did CA acquire then ruin? I'm guessing just as many as Broadcom. Stop acting like CA was some quaint, med size startup with a stellar corp culture.

I will work for less than what Broadcom is paying as long as anywhere other than Broadcom.... because I seriously hate this job so much. Some really annoying and selfish people too. Mediocre talent where basic software principals are tossed into the trash. They could double my RSU and I’m still going to leave this POS ASAP.

I walked out on a Stay contract, and I got better equity, base salary and bonus (plus other benefits) than what Broadcom offered. And I left because how the transition went, and I decided that Broadcom is not a company I want to work for.
I work for whoever offers me the most money. Right now, that is Broadcom.
I wish them well may they walk out of this with a big pile of cash.
