One of the person wrote following statement few months back.
when layoffs happen it is not about who is rated high or who is rated low.. it is about which position is required and which position is not required.
After layoff new CTO joined the company and they moved previous CTO to some different role (Goa knows what role he is in now). New CTO moved previous CTO to new role means he is not required for CTO position tight? Though he is one of the reasons for company crisis management created new position and moved him to that new position but he can terminate employee directly with out thinking whether that employee fit for any other position or not? rule has to be same for everyone, apply same rule for ex CTO then tell your moral stories.
