I remember when the ESPP was rolled out a few years ago.
It was not long after massive layoffs, and furloughs. Around the 3rd or 4th year of not having a pay raise.
It was pitched as an opportunity for employees to invest their hard earned money.
(I realize no investment is a guarantee, and that was stated )
There were not many indications that the company was going to turn around. 7B in debt is pretty tough to overcome. Just seems to me that maybe the ESPP should have never been offered in the first place. Just made a bad situation worse for some. Hopefully very few enrolled.
