We have been having these weekly hr conference calls to update us on information. The hr perosn never has a answer to any questions regarding how they are going to decide who gets there 60 day notice first. Also be aware they don't have to give a 60 day notice. If your route is cut and there is nothing for you to do don't be surprised if you are just let go. To hear people think they will keep you around is a joke. We get paid based of sales sp if you are not selling how will you get paid. Also the bonus is a guarantee as long as you shown up and do the minimum. She said its basically yours unless you are not doing anything at all. Just show up and do what you can. Good luck everyone.

@dvsone. Your partly right. But more than that is how nestle plans to approach product handling in the long run. Check out the new prototype warehouse they are building in Europe and you’ll see the way the whole industry is heading.
They should start cutting the laziest route sales and drivers. This tenure c-ap is what has destroyed the dsd program. You have guys busting there a-- because that’s there work ethic then you have guys who are just there for the time.
It’s all over in September that’s when pizza goes. Ice cream goes in October. I believe when pizza goes more than half of us will be cut. The other half would only stay for another month so big deal. Expect 60 day notices to start rolling out the end of July. If you have seniority you will be given the choice to stay longer or just leave in Sep. This is what I was told in our meeting.
Under Warn act must be given 60 day notice...
I just wish it would be over and get my cash. 15 years is long enough . get me out of here already
at least u have been having weekly conference calls nothing in great lakes region because every questions reply is we will get back to you on that. which they never do. we wre told route average will be paid when stores start getting cut. but that will not last fr long. saw nothing in writing so not to confident. need to start recording the talks with the hr and dsl.
How do they decide which route to cut? Why wouldn’t they cut the lowest tenured sales rep, driver, merchandiser etc? I think they’d be leaving themselves vulnerable to a potential lawsuit when it would be just as easy to cut the lowest person and move things around. I predict they will cut AB routes and lowest tenured merchandisers and drivers as stores drop off and the higher tenured sales reps will have to expand their route. Will they take volunteers if someone has something lined up and they want to leave during the first round of cuts? I’m in Florida and we have lots of questions and no answers.
