Thread regarding Raytheon Co. layoffs

Raytheon laid off Proposal Analysts in Andover and hiring at a lower level

Are the inexperienced going to know what to do? Or will it just mean more overtime for the senior employees

Production, engineers, QA, should be the only valuable people to keep because they touch the products. Do we really need 20 managers and manager of the managers. They provide no added value to the products and should be terminated. Can you say "pyramid scheme"?

What is the situation at Raytheon's Richardson and Mckinney Texas sites? I'm wanting to transfer to one of those sites. Good or bad idea?

A lot of those guys are overpaid and produce no measurable results. We're in an era where everything can be figured out by googling, you don't need to be an expert...you just need to get it done.
