There is definitely a troll with an axe to grind on this board, no doubt.
This thread seems like meaningless rumor mongering
I still haven't seen or heard of any mass RIF going on, sure a couple people have left over the past few weeks but they've also hired some new people too - that's normal for any business with thousands of people involved, it happens all the time.
"High Level, Very Respected, Likely Well Compensated" is pretty damn generic. I'm not asking for names, but if this is another wave of layoffs then Mr./Mrs. I Got Confirmation should be able to at least identify the impacted business units, locations, or groups affected by this. I haven't seen anything happening like last July or December's cuts, so I'm just not believing this.
So what was the reason these "high level, very respected people" were let go?
what leaders are very respected at any level in Allscripts.? Reason we flounder is due to complete dysfunctional incompetence of leadership chain.
OK - I got confirmation. There were people laid off last Friday. I've confirmed several of them. It appears to be similar to reduction in December. High level, very respected people who were likely well compensated. They seem to be culling the senior, highly compensated staff members.
I haven't heard anything or seen anything that would indicate any group layoffs, and neither have any of my fellow office dwellers. While I'm sure there's more coming at some point in the future that could be soon or far in the future, I don't think it's happening now.
I'll believe it when I see it happening, I hear from someone I trust, or they take my badge and access away.
There's a troll on these boards that posts nothing but negative and misleading information, instead of helpful news regarding actual events. It's the Internet take everything with a grain of salt.
I have not heard anything in the office about layoffs... This sounds like a prank..No details?
What a huge waste of talent. Well... I guess college kids with no experience need to start some place.
Any managers? Wait - never mind.
Every place - except India
Which locations?
