Rumor from good sources is that 25-30% of the Austin SARC GPU team got let go. Silicon/Comp Arch companies across Austin are having “open houses” for Samsung employees.

Hi All - Just checking in... I am currently a Semiconductor SME, from R&D to HVM. I have technical experience in Statistical Process Control, Process Integration, Defect Elimination & Metrology, and Yield Improvement (uh oh).
So far, I faced many challenges, learned from my past experience, and continue learning and sharing my knowledge everyday!
I hope they do not ax me today as they are going through layoff lists.
This is true I was personally one of them as well.
This is true. 68 out of 300+ have been laid off.
That rumor is true. A friend of mine got impacted by these layoffs
