Thread regarding Nestle layoffs

A Hybrid Auditors point of view

Since most of the topics are related to RSRs, Merchs, Drivers, DSL, ASL, etc. I hope this can shed a different light.

FYI, Hybrid Auditors basically are doing 2 combined positions auditing in the field and asset mover role, delivery of bunkers and such.

Since the announcement, I've been doing a lot more picking up of freezers from smaller stores or even smaller chains

I definitely see it as reality more than you day to day guys that don't see much difference in your schedule since the announcement.

For us non salary employees, bust your butt off! Work as much overtime as possible, take advantage of every mile you can (mileage really adds up if you use your personal car and its tax free), reimburse every single item you can! Office supplies, that box of tissues for your desk, new writing utensils, etc.

I say BUSTING Your BUTT off until the end is the REAL way to stick it to Corporate.

Stay strong everyone, but I remind myself every day, at a moments notice or 60 day notice, I gotta hit that pavement again, update my Resume and so on.

Let's all do our "best" for this company while you can mmkay...

Quit your sniffling about working 60 hours a week. You agreed to work now work. Don’t be sand bagging it just because there is an end. If your a hard worker , work won’t be hard to find.

That’s terrible advice! Everyone needs to mentally prepare themselves for when they are finally let go. You cannot do that while working an unhealthy 60 hours a week. I would suggest working your usual schedule and make your off days (2 per week) about other things, such as family, friends, hobbies; any type of healthy outlet. This will lessen the blow when it comes. Overworking is never the answer. A person has to deal with his/her emotions in a healthy way.

I use to do audits as well before the company decided to let me go do to medical issues. All the strest the job created on me having a heart attack. Then now I hear everyone is losing there jobs. I was stunned but I remember the bullies down in a certain town. I would hate going to a certain salemans route it was a mess.
