More layoffs in Calgary took place today. Around 15 Houston-based employees also will leave the company (retirement and layoff).
News said 100 will be let go, likely still an abundance of middle management left to let go.
Eventually only students, contractors, and CNOOC personnel from China will be left!

I know of termination Tuesday, I was a victim of get wacked Wednesday, what will Thursday be called?
I am assuming Thursday is downsizing day at CNOOC (Nexen). It may be the end of working 7 (if that) hour days, lots of coffee breaks, endless sick days, getting a bonus for nothing, great pension, 2 Fridays off a month and being overpaid for what you do but there is life after layoff.
