Another Health hub update

CVS Health is pushing deeper into health services with plans to add dietitians, medical equipment and space for the occasional yoga class to 1,500 stores over the next few years.

The d--gstore chain that quit selling t-b-cco several years ago said Tuesday it will expand a store model it recently tested. Its HealthHub stores will have about twice as much space devoted to health care as other locations and will aim to help people with chronic conditions like diabetes.

The stores reduced space for things like seasonal merchandise in order to add community rooms that can be used for free chair yoga sessions or nutrition classes.

The company started testing the changes in Houston late last year and will add more to that market this year as well as expand to Atlanta, the Philadelphia area and Tampa. CVS officials say they expect to run 1,500 HealthHub stores by the end of 2021.

Cvs is a joke!
Ive seen where a pr-scrip-ion was dropped off and not filled 5 days later.
They claim theyre going to offer services from a dietitian, respiratory therapist, nurse practitioner, AND a pharmacist. So there's at least $350k/year in salary and insurance and nearly $200/hr each day. HA!
CVS needs to make everyone happy and slit their wrist and close. Least happy customers in America.

CVS stopped selling c-gare--es because it's against the law to sell t-b-cco products were medical services are practiced. Minute clinics have separate identity from main store by putting them in a closet with a door.

So sick of CVS, how they spin facts. Let's face it they would have never stopped selling t-b-cco products unless alterior merlo, motive.

This 1500 stores over two years is another pipe dream. Any investor who believes this huckster and invests due to this announcement deserves the outcome. He is grasping for straws...

What's next goat yoga?

This press release was strictly to wow the investors during investor day. Makes investors drive up stock price, cvs is known to make bold claims but when it comes to brass tax they dont put their money where the mouth is. They will say 1500 and then blame market conditions when they only get 100 of them complete. They always have an escape plan and story to cover the mistakes. Dont be fooled, health hubs will fail in 80-90% of markets. Stores cant keep the paper wall full or fill rx on time, why would a customer trust anything cvs comes out with. They will half a-- the initiative and then cut all payroll tied to it when things dont go there way.

So the store manager will have no future when it becomes Healthhubs? Who will stock any of the products that will still be on the shelves? Will it be tech's? Who will order and manage?

LOL they can't even put away the returns!

I am skeptical to say the least that this will come close to happening. Perhaps CVS will remodel a fraction of the minute clinic stores and select a few more to remodel but to say 1500 is quite a bold estimate. No way this happens. Just another way to pump up that stock price

How would corporate decide which stores get slated for a healthhub?

Sounds to me the SM position isn’t going anywhere. Yes they are decreasing seasonal but that’s already happened. They have expanded some FS areas. At the very least, FS doesn’t appear to be going away as some posters have commented.
