Contrary to some misguided belief, coming to work is not something you are doing on your time. You are highly compensate professionals working for a fist class firm that has fallen behind some of the other majors in our industry. The management needs for everyone to pull their weight and put us back on top. To do this, we need to be hungry. We need to outwork the others so hat we can haul in the big fish. As many of you now know Bechtel ate our lunch with the outcome of Rio Grande LNG. We must never all that to happen again. Eldridge is designed so that we will be in a workspace conducive to becoming an engineering machine. Our work output must outpace the other companies, otherwise we will be forced to increase outsourcing of the work to India. So ... No, there wont be walls separating cubicles. Everyone will have a desk in a common shared workspace similar to the wonderful Ford Motor Company workrooms of the 1950's. Donald Trump says make America great again. We intend to do just that.

Right, and not designed for privacy. No separators, no walls, no doors, overhead security cameras? No modesty panels. Hidden cameras?
Do you deserve privacy, decorum, modesty dignity? Why? WHY?! So goddamn full of yourselves! You are working for a stuggling company and all you can think of is yourself! Did you give a moment's thought to DD and his $7,500,000? Did you?
Well what do you have to say? ... I'm waiting for an apology.
Not designed for "creature comforts"? God forbid I should like my office. Nobody has a good thing to say about it. Except that we will have no trouble seeing "there's the door."
So you're getting warnings about hidden cameras? They must suspect you. You post about something secret? Easier to figure out who you are. And you keep posting? You are dumb.
About 75 views per post and reply. Not much attention. No effect on stock price, that was just stupid. some posters are ex employees so won't catch them. Mngt has better things to do than to install cameras to shut up a few people. Mngt should listen to discontent. Not stifle it.
Win win? Do you guys know how to run a project?
The hidden cams are there to find out who is posting messages to this site on company time. My lead told me that the bosses are trying to find out who is posting here. I only post using my iPhone. Noone should consider using the company PCs to post as they are monitoring closely. They have been taking internet access away from some people lately so please be careful. If they do catch you, then you are toast.
Is it true there will be security cam bubbles all over so they can monitor our productivity?
Finally! A reasonable person! More intimacy, Win win! That's what I told HR at my last company.
Quid pro quo my a--.
We believe in workplaces without walls. More intimate and more productive. A win win !

Collaboratively working together proof reading each other’s resumes.
Never mind the remote groups being forced to relocate to this alice-in-wonderland office that's costing millions per floor to renovate.
Happy happy happy!!!!
Let's do that thing we do in church where the priest says a verse and the laypeople say the refrain.

Amen.
Great. I guess Site Manager got the rent paid so now he's an expert on LNG engineering. Any other opinions?
Wow so much to unpack here. But thanks for confirming! :) Great pep talk! Bechtel's an American company, not a USA-foreign competitiveness issue is it?
And did MDR engineer RG? In Houston? Are we moving jobs back from India? And you think there are hi-paid engs who will want to come work in the new office? Are they any good? You designed the offices after RG postmortem & this is your fix?
So MDR's problems must be your fault b/c of our offices? Or engineer's fault?
Make Panama great again!
Fist class? Sounds right.
