If you are 40+, start looking.

Left in 2018, absolutely no problem finding better employment.

Not true. Ample opportunities out there. I left in 2018, found better position in San Diego within 6 months.

Same here, age 40+, was impacted in 2018... attended several interviews (>20, first 10 were a disaster), received 3 offers.

I am happy that I found a job that aligns with my interests & values my experience...

I now lead a team of energetic engineers building innovative software.

Yeah, it was challenging but certainly not a road block...

Well I know lots of 40+ people that found jobs after, including myself. Long term former employees.

Job search period was within the national average expectations I didn't see a serious struggle with majority of class of '18. Sure the road may be a bit rougher with age but that is just another challenge to step up to. Trump economy has kept unemployment low even in Commiefornia despite our id--t policies on business and ridiculous costs here.

I think this is particularly true for people who have ONLY worked at QCOM. They’ve likely been doing one thing for a long time.

They only know the one corporate culture.
