Thread regarding Newpark Resources Inc. layoffs

Age discrimination at NP???

Just look around you - what's the one thing you notice? The faces that are looking back at you are getting MUCH younger after every layoff, and older employees are few and far between.

Is there really nothing to be done about this? It's certainly not legal, so why is it allowed to keep happening?

What goes around, comes around.

All those Louisiana boys have questionable trucking deals. Somehow they keep their jobs. CP and DP have both had known issues.

I call BS. Name the managers that allowed this to happen. Call the Newpark hotline and turn them in if true.

Why would NP management step up and be accountable, for age discrimination. When they have turned their heads and looked the other way for years. Here are just a few examples.

NP enabled employees to work with multiply DWI’s.

Employee’s own truck’s under others names and lease them out.

Selected employees were enabled to buy OBM and chemicals from third party vendors, knowing that NP had thousands of barrels in storage and lower cost emulsifiers.

Costing NP millions in profits over the years.

Shame. Shame
