Mars Wrigley Layoffs 2019

Not sure why there are no posts but layoffs are happening.

Just look at all competitors, everyone's had them, so Mars Wrigley is no different here.

The lack of proper and consistent strategy has hurt the field force.

They have no idea how much business they are going to lose. Without us packing out the product or correcting on hands they will lose sales. Walmart is not having Dpt.Heads in Department 1 and 82. What is their expectations for seasonal sales?

Really treating the sales force bad after all they have done with little support. Really need to look around at others before the tsm sales force.

My heart goes out to the people who joined this company after being promised a commitment to retail. Really sudden change that should have been given more time to succeed. Lot of structure wasn’t in place and had too many changing priorities for any real chance. Also, some of those above rep level weren’t always helpful to the TSM position and have not been held accountable. Really wish the organization would look around for blame other than TSMs that don’t alway have the power to even succeed in some areas.

Correct. Currently in 2019 Q2 having layoffs after recently expanding the sales force. Has anyone heard what is going on? Seems a bit out of the blue considering all the expansion.
