Thread regarding Nestle layoffs

Considering leaving...

I'm considering leaving Nestle (increased frequency of layoffs is the main reason) but it's still hard making that final decision. This is far from the worset place to work at.

I'm wondering if there are any people here who left on their own? Would you mind telling me if you have any regrets? Would you go back if you could?

Thanks in advance.

I’m confident it will be a phase out procedure with merchandisers going 1st. Quitting doesn’t make sense, ride it out & take the severance/vacation & bonuses when the time comes. I’ve been here a very long time, u never know who you’ll be working for down the road so why burn bridges?

I personally refuse to be a puppet for these scumbags. I'm moving on. I've been using all my sick time this week. They don't know it yet but I won't be back Monday. They can keep their money.

You will never be safe working for a corporation. Find a way to work for yourself.

There have been driver quitting in Mississippi and Alabama

Everyone at my depot is sticking around one guy “went out “ with short term disability!

And another driver here is out cause he’s wife just had twins... but going into vacation season it has put us in a bind!
