This week I participated in the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge as part of the Adtalem team. There were over 70 runners/participants in the streets of Chicago that night... As someone who'd left DeVry before it was sold, I often wondered what it would be like to return to the fold, so to speak...to gauge if the divestiture had hurt morale. It could be just a runner's high...but this was a good group of people, and I felt happy to be in their company. If you don't believe me, I'm sure there's a group photo of us somewhere on social media...along with a much small contingent from a much smaller DeVry. It's on LinkedIn. Take a look at both. I think the pictures say it all....the company you keep really does make a difference.

Not sure what the Bale reference meant, but I meant to say I'm a lot happier now that I've left DeVry. Got tired of being led by people who didn't impress or inspire. And getting teaching tips from people who haven't spent nearly as much time in a classroom as I have. Nope. The only card they could play with me was intimidation. And I don't scare easy. That, and they were a tad boring. Lightweights.
By the way.. the Adtalem people I met at the race seem pretty happy in general, and I suspect no longer having DeVry dragging them down might account for some of the euphoria.
And your point is.....what, exactly?
you sound like Christian Bale from American Psycho
