I got laid off today from CommScope. One month severance. Most people who got laid off were not given much more. It was random, and very little thought went into the people who were let go, and the positions that were cut. There is no back fill. More is coming I hear. Oh well.

Regarding to "About 20 former ARRIS Services employees were let go on 5/22-5/23". Which BU or department ?
Arris packages are 1 month for 1 to 5 years service so severance is pretty awful with less than 5 years service.. worst I have seen.
About 20 former ARRIS Services employees were let go on 5/22-5/23. They got ARRIS (decent) severance as required by the acquisition agreement. Not a peep from mgmt. Not sure about other departments.
